In this tour you will be able to discover many of the main and characteristic spots of the city, but we will not forget another important cultural topic: gastronomy, waffles, fries, chocolate and beer.
Description
We will start our tour at the most recognizable and important square of the city: la Grand Plaçe. There is no tourist who is not amazed by the beauty of this square. Strategic and market place since medieval times to Bruselians continues to be the heart of the city.
We will also take a look to some symbols of the city such as the Manneken Pis or the Jeanneken Pis, the little children who pee in the streets of the city. The boy is so important that he has his own wardrobe or his musical band. And if we are lucky, you will be able to catch the child peeing not water, but beer.
We will see emblematic and monumental monuments of the city, such as the Royal Galleries, the Brussels Stock Exchange, both buildings from the 19th century, or the Cathedral of Saint Michael and Saint Gudula. This building will impress with its resemblance to another famous cathedral of one nearby cityBrussels is also known as the capital of comic strips and on our tour we will see murals dedicated to the ninth art, like the one dedicated to Tintin, Captain Haddock and Snowy.
We will finish our tour of the most monumental Brussels places in one of the most photographed places in the city, the Mount of Arts. A spectacular panoramic view of the city of Brussels. And we hope that after our tour you will go to drink a beer at any of its hundreds of breweries or taste some chocolates or fries
